HACKING ALERT

Dear subscribers!

This morning I received a message via the Contact Form on my blog that I had been hacked and that my subscriber list had been extracted so it can be sold elsewhere. The e-mailer demanded $3,000 in Bitcoin to undo the action.

I believe this to be a scam, but out of an abundance of caution, I have reported this extortion attempt to the FBI Cyber Crimes Division per instructions from WordPress and reset my admin password.

Out of the same abundance of caution, I want to alert you as well. Most likely you will not receive any suspicious emails because I don’t think my site was actually hacked and any information extracted. If you do receive any suspicious emails, please do not respond to them and let me know via the contact form on my site. I will add that activity to my report.

Thank you. We are not unaware of Satan’s attempts to discourage and derail the work of the Lord. I will have a proper post for you again very soon!
